2008 Climbing Competition Information
Competition on Saturday and Sunday April 5 and 6
Location: MIT Bouldering Wall in Walker Memorial

The competition is FREE. There's no fee to enter, but please pre register. This is in no way limited to MIT students or students at all -- anyone that would like to compete is welcome and encouraged to do so.

Separate divisions for men and women

Beginner
Good
Wicked Good
Open

The competition will be judged on your ability to climb problems of varying difficulty each with it's own point value. The top five problems completed within the alloted time (to be determined) will comprise your score. Each problem will also have it's own specific flash points.

Prizes will be given to the top three contestants in each category at the end of that day's climbing.

Pre-registration will open February 22nd. If you want to compete please pre-register so we can adjust the schedule accordingly.

There are no eligibility requirements.
If you are under 18 years old you will need a parent or guardian there to sign your waiver in order to compete.

Each competitor will only have to compete on ONE of the two DAYS. Each day's winners will be given prizes on THAT DAY. The reason the competiton is two days long is to separate categories so everyone can have plenty of space to climb.
